When connecting the laptop to the external monitor or TV via a HDMI cable, the external monitor or TV can't emit any sound. And when switching to the next display modes including the HDMI output, they emit sound again. However, if switching the display mode back to "Computer only", the next time switching to the display modes including the HDMI output makes them mute again.
