Computer Donation by NTNU Love Myanmar Volunteer Team

Since 2008, the students and teachers of the Department of Civic Education and Leadership of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) has provided voluntary service for Burma with teachers of junior high, elementary school and early childhood. They have assisted to implement teacher training programs for 1,124 teachers in 50 local Chinese schools, influencing learning for over ten thousand students. Moreover, they distributed almost 80 thousand donated books to the schools. Many students, thus, open windows of knowledge through reading and have chances to explore the broad world. These volunteers also raised funds to rebuild local schoolhouses. Since 2011, MSI has donated our private brand computers to NTNU Love Myanmar Volunteer Team for making an effort to shorten digital divide and advance the level of education in remote areas.
