Environmental Compliance: Recycling Your MSI Product

To recycle a used MSI electronic product, please see www.mrmrecycling.com or call 1-888-769-0149 to find out where to recycle unwanted electronics at a location near you.

Recycling is an important component in our overall approach to sustainability, and MSI encourages the recycling of electronic products. Recycling of old electronics can recapture valuable materials – metals, plastics, glass – and send them back into the economy, creating value and jobs – rather than sending them to the landfill.

Many states in the U.S. and provinces in Canada have legal requirements enabling consumers to recycle their end-of-life electronic products for free. MSI complies with all these laws and we work to continually ensure we are 100% compliant with all state/provincial and federal programs.

We currently are operating electronics recycling initiatives in the following states: Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

To recycle a product in these states, MSI partners with MRM (electronics Manufacturers Recycling Management company) – see www.mrmrecycling.com or call 1-888-769-0149 to find out where to recycle unwanted electronics near you.

In Washington, D.C., MSI accepts any brand of the type of covered equipment purchased from MSI in DC, on a one-to-one basis, through MRM’s mailback program. Residents of Washington D.C. should see www.mrmrecycling.com or call 1-888-769-0149 for more details on this mailback service. For example, since MSI sells laptops, desktops, monitors, all-in-one computers, and keyboards/mice – D.C. residents can mail back other brands of those same type of electronics. Televisions are not accepted by MSI under this program, since MSI does not sell televisions or other TV peripherals (DVD, VHS, etc.).

Consumers in California should visit www.erecycle.org to learn more about how and where to recycle electronics there.

Consumers in all other states can easily identify locations where they can recycle their old electronics by visiting www.greenergadgets.org or calling to MSI Computer Corp. #(888)-447-6564 (Office Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) for further support. By uncovering new ways to create sustainable products, MSI continues to play a responsible role in creating a greener future.
