The common audio interfaces are USB, 6.3mm, 3.5mm jack. Please refer to the Audio configuration guide in the product manual for the setup instructions.
USB audio interface
Attach the USB speaker to the USB port on the motherboard I/O panel.
6.3mm audio interface
Connect the 6.3mm cable to the 6.3mm output jack
Note: Specifications may differ depending on the model
3.5mm audio output interface
The 3.5mm cable goes to the 3.5mm jack on the rear motherboard I/O panel
Note: Generally there are two types of 3.5mm audio devices in the market: two-ring and three-ring plug.
Two-ring plug do not have a microphone, it is for output only. The three-ring plug has microphone input and audio output features, it is generally used on mobile devices.
When applying the three-ring plug to the motherboard, you might only be able to hear a single channel or some abnormality due to the design is not made for it. Therefore, it is recommended to use the external audio devices with two-ring plug.

Go to MSI official website, search your motherboard and download the driver.
For example: MPG Z390M GAMING EDG AC, input the product name on the top right search bar, press [Enter]
Click on the [Manual] button down below the product name
Select the one with your language and click on the icon with an arrow pointing down to download the manual.
Right-click on the downloaded file and select [Extract all]
Click [Extract]
After Un-zipped the file, open the PDF file.
Check on [Audio jacks to the headphone and microphone diagram], [Audio jacks to stereo speakers diagram] and [Audio jacks to 7.1 channel speakers diagram] in the product manual.
