The BIOS password is a user-set and personal part of the information. To ensure and respect your privacy and security, MSI does not collect your password within the system.

When setting a BIOS password on a MSI motherboard, you can choose whether to clear the BIOS password by clearing the CMOS. If you initially set this option, please remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard after powering off and wait for 3 to 5 minutes before reattaching it. This action will restore the BIOS settings to its default factory values.

However, if you cannot clear the BIOS password through clearing the CMOS, it means that the BIOS password will remain permanently. Please visit the MSI customer service center to resolve the issue.
