Handling your Laptop Charger when it goes Malfunction
When the charger is not charging the laptop, please confirm whether the cable is connected firmly and the power outlet is switched on. When the laptop battery charging indicator displays "plugged in, not charging" or the battery level remains at around 90% with the laptop charger still connected, this is a battery self-maintenance feature, please refer to the following article for further explanation.

When dealing with a burnt out charger, please switch off the power immediately and unplug the charger from the power outlet. Please do not try to switch on the laptop with the charger again, please visit MSI after-sales service website as soon as possible.
If the charger makes some abnormal noises while in use or noise appears from the inside of the charger while shaking it, please stop using the charger immediately and request a replacement as soon as possible from MSI after-sales service.
The supplied charging cord has 3-pin plug. If there is a static electricity problem during the use of the laptop charger, please confirm whether the charger is connected to a grounded power outlet. Do not remove the ground pin of the charging cord. When electric leakage occurs, the ground pin can protect the electrical appliance by guiding the leakage to ground.
When the laptop charger or the charging cord is damaged, please stop using it immediately, and contact the MSI after-sales service to order a new replacement. Using non-MSI genuine accessories may lead to unpredictable problems and catastrophes or damages to the laptop.
