Check if the microphone is blocked

The microphone is typically located on either side of the laptop's camera. Please make sure that the microphone is not obstructed by any objects.

Check microphone permissions

If you haven't granted microphone access to an application, it won't be able to use the microphone. Please follow these steps to check microphone permissions.

1. Open "Settings", select "Privacy & Security", and choose "Microphone".

2. Check if the applications have microphone access permissions. If not, enable microphone permissions for those applications.

Verify the status of the input device

1. Go to the sound settings and ensure that the current input device is set to the built-in microphone of the computer.

2. Click on "Recording" → "Microphone" → "Properties".

3. In the "Levels" tab, ensure that the microphone is not in mute mode.

Update the audio card driver
