How to Fix Slow Hard Disk Transfer Rate

Hard Drive Optimization
Go to “This PC” and right click on “Local Disk” and click “Properties”.
Select “Tool” and click on “Optimize”.

Upgrade Hard Drive
1. The transmission speed will drop significantly after user had used 90% of the storage capacity. It is recommended to upgrade and replace a larger capacity hard disk.
2. Due to the hardware limitations, the transmission speed of mechanical hard drives is slower than solid state drives, so users can add solid state drives or Optane memory to improve performance.
