[Notebook] USB Data Transfer Anomalies

If your notebook experiences USB data transfer issues (such as slow transmission speeds or getting stuck), please refer to the following steps for troubleshooting:

Initial determination

  • Check USB interface specifications: USB transmission speed is limited by interface specifications. Please confirm that the interface specifications match the USB transmission specifications.
  • Inspect USB interface or cable: Check for damage to the USB interface or connecting cable, as this may result in the USB device not functioning properly or exhibiting abnormalities.
  • Test on another computer: Try inserting the USB device into another known-good computer. If it still does not work properly, the USB device may be faulty.
  • Prior to using some USB devices, corresponding USB device software or drivers may need to be installed first. Please confirm that your computer has installed the correct software or driver.
  • Direct connection: If your USB device is connected through a USB hub, try connecting the USB device directly to the computer's USB interface. If the device works properly, the issue may be with the USB hub or insufficient power supply.
  • Check file transfer: Large file transfers may consume a lot of time and cause the computer to become unresponsive.
