Rebuilding Lives at the Nancy Lieberman Back-to-Life Center

The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City recently opened the Nancy Lieberman Back-to-Life Center specifically to rehabilitate those with spinal cord injuries. Many people who receive spinal cord injuries never return to work, school, or travel and live extremely limited lives.

What the Nancy Lieberman Back-to-Life Center aims to do is to be the one-stop space to assist those with spinal cord injuries in rebuilding their lives, using assistive technology, career support, and lifestyle programs to restore independence and confidence.

To show our support, MSI provided hardware to support the Center’s goals.

In the gaming section of the Center, an Aegis pre-built desktop is paired with the
MPG 274URDFW E16M monitor, where PC gaming can be enjoyed while also introducing new methods of controls. Users have access to a full keyboard with a single hand, thanks to the Azeron Cyborg Gaming Keypad, or can even control games with a mouth-operated controller like the QuadStick, a game controller for quadriplegics.

The Aegis pre-built desktop series is one of our premium gaming desktops that offers a good balance of price and performance, with configurations starting at a modest mid-range spec and upwards to top-of-the-line components, like the Core i9 and Ryzen 9 CPUs, and GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards.

The MPG 274URDFW E16M is no slouch either. While the main feature of this monitor is its Dual Mode that natively supports 4K/160Hz and FHD/320Hz, those who would make the most use out of the 320Hz would be those who are highly competitive in fast-paced games like Counter-Strike or Valorant.

What’s unique about the MPG 274URDFW E16M is that it’s one of the only monitors in MSI’s lineup that utilizes a Mini LED panel. Mini LED offers a more visually stunning image compared to conventional LED panels, with 1,152 full-array local dimming zones that deliver superior contrast, deeper blacks, and vibrant colors to provide stunning clarity for an immersive viewing experience in single-player games.

Top-of-the-line gaming hardware isn’t always necessary for every single task. While it is nice to have the extra performance just in case, something as small as the Cubi mini-PC that’s paired with a Productivity monitor can also be plenty powerful for simpler tasks and can integrate much better into a home environment. We love our RGB, but we understand that it’s not for everybody.

The Cubi NUC AI+ 2MG is designed for business and productivity in a sleek, elegant, and compact package. Even with such a small footprint, your space can be maximized even further by using the included standard VESA mount on the rear of the PRO MP275W E2 monitor.
